Best Edition The Officer's Daughter: A Memoir of Family and Forgiveness with FREE PDF EDITION!

I have seen the glowing reviews of this book. I give three stars as the writing is excellent. I wasn't able to get her point, however. The story revolves around her apparent life-long mourning for a cousin she admired but, she admits, was not even a friend. She frets over whether or not she should write to the parole board considering the release of said cousin's killer. She frets over what kind of man her father was. I finished the whole book only to learn she resolved .... nothing.
